DIRT WURX USA builds the MX track for country singer raig Morgan's 6th annual Charity Weekend

DIRT WURX USA dispatches a crew for the annual charity motocross ride, concert & sporting clay shoot for the Craig Morgan Charity Fund

imgMONROE, N.Y. (Aug. 21, 2012) – DIRT WUX USA’s ace operators Chris Blankenship and Kory Christensen boarded the DW USA mobile supercross rig and headed down to Tennessee this past week to lend the company’s motocross track building expertise to famed country and western singer Craig Morgan’s 6th annual Charity Motocross Ride, concert and Sporting Clay Shoot to benefit “Billy’s Place,” a welcoming home founded by Morgan to assist temporarily displaced children.

Joined by pro motocrossers, including Kevin Windham, and FMX star “Cowboy” Kenny Bartram, DIRT WURX USA – with the help of Ryan Foley (Foley CAT) and Thompson Machinery out of Nashville – tuned up Morton’s existing MX track, and added a number of advanced obstacles including a massive triple and couple other big jumps for the pros to show off on.

“Year-after-year I am blown away by the support for this event from our celebrity friends and the Dickson and Middle Tennessee communities,” says Morgan. “I am so proud of the amount of money raised to help the children and families in this area and am already looking forward to our 7th annual event next summer.”

imgAdded DIRT WURX USA boss Rich Winkler: “Windham got us involved with this event a few years ago and we’ve been back every year to help out Craig Morgan with this worthy cause. This year DIRT WURX USA upped the ante and brought our traveling supercross rig down to the event, and it became the centerpiece of the motocross portion of the weekend. All the pros, including Windham and Bartram, were pitting out of the DIRT WURX USA rig and using it as a home base of sorts all week. Definitely a good time was had by everyone involved and we were pumped as a company to step up and lend a hand to this great event.”

Joining Windham at Bartram, along with Blankenship and Christensen at the DIRT WURX USA rig were off-road stars Destry Abbott, Fred Andrews and Randy Hawkins. The event raised more than $73,000 for Billy’s Place. Keep an eye out on the Outdoor Channel in the coming months for some highlights of the event to appear on “Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors,” airing on Sunday nights throughout the year.
